This Information Text is based on the Law on the Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 ("KVKK") and primarily covers:
In order to provide better service to our Members, we process and store certain data that may directly or indirectly identify you, including but not limited to your name, surname, email address, telephone number, gender, date of birth, T.C. identity number, tax identification number, personal interests, invoice and delivery addresses. We also collect and process bulk statistical data such as website visit frequency and times, order placement times, and IP addresses at the time of ordering, without containing personal information, to analyze and understand visitor movements and preferences.
Except for these personal data, we process and use your personal data only within the scope of the purposes and scope specified in this KVKK Information, provided that your explicit consent is obtained or it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract with you or it is compulsory for our legitimate interests without harming your fundamental rights and freedoms, and we take appropriate information security measures.
Some of the data we collect in the database is used for periodic campaign studies, creating special promotions for customer profiles, and customer classification studies to prevent unwanted emails, and is used in compliance with relevant legal regulations.
When you use a credit card to pay for the product price, you agree to share your credit card number, expiration date, CVV2 code, and similar information with banks. However, credit card and/or bank card information used during the order creation process is not stored in our systems.
If you request the creation of a customer record by providing your contact information in our stores, your personal data may be collected verbally during your conversations with store employees. The personal data collected within the scope of customer registration processes may be processed for the verification of your contact information, creating and tracking necessary records in our systems to facilitate return and exchange processes, and for marketing purposes about our products and services, including sending commercial electronic communications to you based on your explicit consent and creating special campaigns and promotions suitable for your consumer behaviors.
megaotomarket is free to store any records related to terminated membership accounts as long as they are anonymized. When anonymized, the data loses its identifying characteristic of a person and is not considered personal data in this regard. The Member cannot make any claims or demands for compensation regarding anonymized records.
We may share your personal data with third parties (companies providing cargo, shipment, call center, database services, etc.) with whom we cooperate to provide our services and with state authorities as required by our legal obligations. megaotomarket may share your personal data, such as your visit to the Site or membership-related information and navigation data, with public institutions and organizations authorized to request this information legally for your security and for the performance of megaotomarket's legal obligations.
